Hello all you fantastic saints,
Sending this notice out as there are lots of things happening in early November and wanted to give you all a heads up! Come to one event or all. If none of these sound fun or interesting let us know, and we can incorporate different things in the future based on what you are looking for. This is YOUR group! Have fun with it, we are growing in faith, joy, and community together … so your voice really does matter!
Official Events
November 1st: Day of the Dead, All Saints Day Party
Join the Snows Young Adults as party. Come dressed as your favorite Saint to win the costume contest! Not into costumes that is absolutely fine too. There will still be fun to be had by all. All Saint’s Day is a great time where we look to our deceased brothers and sisters in heaven as examples of how to live with joy, faith, courage, and tenacity in their lives with Christ at the center!
7pm (or after the All Saints Day Mass at 6:30, typically about 7:15)at the Rock House
November 5th: Faith Sharing at the Rock House
Faith Sharing is the first Tuesday of each month from 7 pm – 9 pm at the Rock House, 1045 Lander Street, Reno, NV 89509. The first hour is sharing a meal and socializing, the second hour is digging into the gospel reading and sharing how it connects to our lives and our world. All are welcome! This week dinner provided will be from Honey Bakery, Chinese Sweet and Savory Buns (Curry Chicken, BBQ Pork, Taro).
November 19th: Faith Sharing
Potluck Faith Sharing is the third Tuesday of each month from 7 pm – 9 pm at the Rock House, 1045 Lander Street, Reno, NV 89509. The main dish will be provided. We kindly request all who are able to bring a salad or side. The first hour is sharing a meal and socializing, the second hour is diving into the gospel reading for the upcoming Sunday and sharing how it connects to our lives and our world. All are welcome!
November 30th: Friendsgiving
Join other young adults at 7 pm at the Rock House, 1045 Lander Street Reno, NV 89509. as we give thanks to God for the year of harvest. We will have turkey, and you bring the fixings. Service:
We will be doing RBP: But waiting to hear back if that will be the Reno Bike Project or the Reno Burrito Project! I will keep you posted. If you are more interested in one program over the other, please don’t be too upset. I will be scheduling out the other service opportunity depending on their policies, and availability in the future!

Join other Young Adults around the Diocese for Football fun!

November 22: Taize Prayer
If you have not yet had the opportunity to experience Taize Prayer, or prayer through song, I would highly recommend this event!
