OLS Youth Ministry 2017
Renewing the Vision – A Framework for Catholic Youth Ministry—challenges parishes to develop a leadership system that invites, trains, supports, and nourishes youth.

OLS is proud to introduce to you our team of dedicated young adults and adults that coordinates a comprehensive ministry yearly for Junior High and High School students from both public and Catholic schools. The team role is to journey with teens providing support, supervision and encouragement in their Catholic faith. Here are a few offerings to consider this year: support from school to parish life, ongoing service opportunities throughout the year, guided youth sessions, engage post-confirmation students, diocesan events (Reno, Northern & Southern California), facilitating retreats, celebrating liturgy and more!!! This year we are proud to thank the following Youth Leaders for their commitment and service to Our Lady of the Snows Youth Ministry:

We also want to thank the countless youth and adult volunteers that make youth ministry a parish, school and family friendly ministry. Our Lady of Snows Youth Leader is a Stewardship Position that:
- oversees the resources of the community so that they are used wisely in ministry with teens
- alerts the whole community to its responsibility for young people
- draws forth the community’s gifts and resources, and encourages and empowers the community to minister with young people
- promotes cooperation among the leaders, ministries, and programs in a faith community as they work together in a common effort to achieve the three goals of the Church’s ministry (RTV 24-25)
