SAFE ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
For volunteers who work with children and youth at Our Lady of the Snows Church

Every adult volunteer in our diocese who works with children & youth in whatever capacity, including serving at Mass, are required to go through minimum requirements BEFORE volunteering in our parish.  Please complete the following:

PROTECTING GOD’S CHILDREN AWARENESS SESSION:

Please go to:  http://www.highdesertcatholic.org/safeenvironment and scroll to the tab labeled “Training Requirements” and click the tab.  You will then click on the VIRTUS Registration link by selecting the preferred language.  You will be walked through the rest of the steps.

You MUST register beforehand; the workshops fill up quickly, so reserve your space as early as you can.  If you arrive late, you will not be allowed in, and you will need to reschedule.  No one except participants (i.e. no children or teens) may attend.

You will be required to do continuing education by reading online bulletins after you complete this session.  We realize that your time is valuable and the bulletins are no more than one page and approximately 5 minutes of reading.  

In an effort to be a loving and protective Church, this training provides protection for all of our children and vulnerable parishioners as well as yourself.  Thank you for your generous time and talent.
