Below is more information about the pilgrimage: 2016 World Youth Day will take place in Krakow, Poland with our Holy Father Pope Francis. The theme for this World Youth Day is, "Blessed are the merciful, for they will receive mercy" (Matthew 5:7). The location is significant as Blessed John Paul II was born in Poland and was the Archbishop of Krakow prior to his election as pope. The them is additionally important as St. Faustina is also a native of Poland.
