Confirmation

The Sacrament of Confirmation celebrates the working of the Holy Spirit within People after Baptism; and also signifies the union with the whole church. Therefore the normal presider is the Bishop of the Diocese.

In the Diocese of Reno, we will be transitioning to celebrating Confirmation for those in the 7th grade. This ought to be completed by Spring of 2026. The Diocese still requires two years of formal preparation within the parish itself. As well the Diocese requires regular attendance at Sunday Masses as well as Family Formation Events throughout the year.
